This website (northtexassoftballtournament.com) is operated by Noah Dunsmore (“we,” “us,” or the “Tournament”) to provide schedule, scores, and optional game alerts for the FC Softball Tournament. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact info you give us.If you sign up for alerts, we collect the email address and/or mobile phone number you enter, and which team(s) or the whole tournament you chose to follow. That’s the only personal information the alerts feature collects.
• Follow preferences on your device. Stars you tap to follow a team are stored locally in your own browser so the site can remember them. They are not tied to your identity.
• We do not collect names, payment information, precise location, or account passwords from fans, and the site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your contact information for one purpose: to send the tournament alerts you asked for — game reminders about 20 minutes before first pitch, final scores, and occasional updates such as delays, weather, or schedule changes. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.

SMS / text messaging

Text alerts are optional. You can receive the same tournament alerts by email instead, and consenting to text messages is never a condition of any purchase, registration, or other service.

No mobile information (your phone number or your opt-in to text alerts) will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We share your phone number only with the messaging providers that deliver the service on our behalf (see “Service providers” below), and only so they can send the texts you opted into. Service providers

We rely on a few vendors to run the site and deliver alerts. They process your information only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security commitments:

• Supabase — secure database hosting for schedule, scores, and subscriber records.
• Resend — delivery of alert emails.
• Twilio — delivery of alert text messages.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Your choices

• Text alerts: reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
• Email alerts: use the unsubscribe link in any alert email.
• You can also email us at the address below and we’ll remove your contact info.

Data retention

We keep your contact info only while you’re subscribed. When you unsubscribe — or after the tournament concludes — your contact information is removed from the active alerts list.

Children

The alerts service is intended for adults signing up for tournament updates and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the tournament evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
